COOKIE POLICY
1. CLASSIFICATION AND DESCRIPTION
According to their purpose:
Essential: they allow you to browse the website and use its functions. Without these cookies, orders cannot be processed.
Non-essential, functionality or performance cookies: these collect information about how the user uses the website in order to improve the functionality of the website. They allow you to check which areas are of most interest to the customer by measuring the effectiveness of promotional campaigns.
In this way, GYMDATE can understand which products and promotions are best suited to the customer's interests and needs, which will be done by: compiling statistics based on non-individualised customer behaviour and subsequent use of the website; measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns; consequent introductions of navigation improvements, etc., for the sole purpose of improving the performance and responsiveness of the website. For this reason, performance cookies provided by authorised third parties are also used for the purposes set out here.
Analytical: used anonymously for statistical purposes and to improve the functioning of the website without collecting any personal information. They allow us to highlight articles that may be of interest to customers or visitors, monitor site performance, determine the most effective method of linking pages or even the reason why some pages receive error messages.
Depending on how long they are retained:
Persistent: stored on the customer's computer or device, between browser sessions, to maintain settings or preferences and improve the use of the site on the next visit. However, some of these cookies are provided by authorised third parties for the following purposes: presentation of campaigns and products that are considered of interest to the customer; advertising of GYMDATE products on partner websites or social networks without storing personal data or user profiles, so they do not involve the transfer of personal data to third parties, the advertising being completely anonymous.
Session cookies: limited to each session initiated by the user, so they expire each time the session ends in the browser. Their purpose may be to indicate the products previously placed in the shopping cart, to identify problems and to guarantee a better browsing experience. Some session cookies can also be a guarantee of improved security.
Regardless of the duration of the session, the user can, at any time, deactivate these cookies through the respective browser settings.
2. ENABLING AND DISABLING COOKIES AND SIMILAR THECHOLOGIES
For statistical purposes, newsletters and other communications may contain information that allows us to know whether they are opened and to verify clicks through links within them. However, the customer can always opt out of receiving newsletters and email communications through an option specifically designed for this purpose and mentioned therein.
As indicated at the top of this page, access to the GYMDATE online shop presupposes the use of cookies and their deactivation may affect navigation on the website.
3. INDIVIDUALISED COMMUNICATIONS OF PRODUCT AND SERVICE PROMOTIONS
Depending on the customer's choice between standard or personalized experience, GYMDATE may or may not send e-mails, in the form of notifications or newsletters, within which general or customer-oriented promotional campaigns are carried out. In both cases, such communications will be received only after confirmation that the customer has expressly and unequivocally consented and has been informed of his or her right to revoke, at any time, the permissions previously granted for this purpose. The customer can check at any time which permissions are granted in relation to the processing of personal data under the option "Manage permissions", available under the tab "Account data".
The processing of personal data carried out within the scope of individualised communications is performed in strict compliance with the GDPR, both by members of the GYMDATE team, in order to perform the services necessary to carry out such promotional campaigns.

Some links on this website redirect the customer to external pages associated with GYMDATE. By clicking on these links, the customer will leave the GYMDATE website. As it is not possible to control these websites, GYMDATE is not responsible for the content available on these websites.
